For all you gamers that live in a cave, Halo 3 came out yesterday. It has been billed the "Harry Potter" of gaming. Microsoft sold 1.5 million copies in preorders! It was developed by Bungie Studios and the reviews are good.

Not all is well in Halo 3 land! I guess some of the special limited-editions were scratched by packaging.
I've been a Bungie fan since their early days as strictly a Mac developer--Ahhh, the Marathon series, there's some great, classic gaming. I also enjoyed the first two Myth titles.
Those guys had some real talent, but other than Halo I can't think of anything they've done since the Mac days that sticks in my mind.
Mind you, I have not played any of the stuff they've developed for consoles.

I have never played Halo 3. I don't even have an Xbox 360. But I don't think I would want to play a game with so much violence like that anyway.

Seriously, I don't see what the big deal about Halo is. All you do is shoot aliens, as if there's not enough violence in this world already!!!

I so want an X-box or an X-box 360, and all 3 of the halo games. But i hear that people's X-box 360s are overheating too much. I have played Halo and Halo 2 and they are 2 of the best games i have ever played, and if the third one is better than the first 2, then it will have to be the best game I have ever played.

Michael, the big deal is that it's one of the funest games on earth!! And you dont just kill aliens, you can play with a frend or frends and kill each other. lol

What's the point of Halo? To encourage kids to be violent?Shooting aleins is fine, I play Carnivores, where you hunt dinos. But for muti-player mode, where you kill other people? I give a thumbs down to that.

sure i guess that halo is bad but it is still cool. halo really isnt all about mindless violence there is alot of stragety in it too. no i cant.

I think that Halo 3 is a great game. My cousin has all of the Halos. I cannot get them because I have A PS2. If I had a Xbox I would deffiently get this game. Idid not know there was some many problem with the packaging. This was a great blog Mr.C.

I believe that video games can be a very big wast of time. I think it is stupid to play video games because they just make you lazier! I would rather be outside working,witch I love, then be inside all day playing video games!
Video games don't always make me lazy, because sometimes if i win something i might get up and dance, or something.
yeah Mr.carey. the limited editions did scratch,but bunge has a warranty on it for a year. all stores open the package and give you a new copy if it is scratched.

Halo3 has been one out of a hundred games I've wanted to play since I saw it in a magezine. Knowing it came out yesterday, makes me even more anxious!

Halo 3 I don't see what the big deal is about a vidoe game, but then of course i am not really that into video games. But, i might be totally wrong because some might think it is totally awesome.
One thing i don't like about the game is all the violence. I think it is just encouraging more. Such as in schools or just around the world. Even though we have enough. So it might be a big deal to some people, but not me!!!

i disagree with cheyenne. i mean i dont live in a cave or anything but i love to play the halo games and i played halo 3 and thought it was awsome. i mean i wouldnt stay the night at walmart to get the game but i would get it if i had a 360. and i do not think it encourages violence, i mean were is a kid going to get a sniper rifle. i thing its the best game for he 360. I've played halo 3 and almost beat it. Its like the best game on earth! Me and some of my other friends play it alot and we have found both good and bad glitches. You really have to play it, you woun't regret it! Mike you wouldn't really understand what the big deal is until you played it. Maby i should let you play sometime. I dont see why they didn't sell like a billion coppies because all people used to talk about is halo 3. I mean they said they were going to buy it then didn'y. I dont get it. Why lie about it?
