Positive Thinking

Is positive thinking becoming extinct? It seems that fewer and fewer of us are understanding the value of a positive attitude and the affect it has on all the people we come in contact with. Smile, laugh, and be happy! Enjoy life and count your blessings, not the negative things in your life. Count how many times you laugh or smile in a day! Mr C

Courtney,

I'm glad you visited my blog and had an opinion on it. I know it is hard sometimes to have a positive attitude but I think it is well worth the effort. You sure feel better smiling than you do frowning! Keep smiling (and visiting my blog!)! Spread the word!

Mr. C
I agree with your blog. I think as time progessed people have decided that the world should be a happy place full of smiles and giggles. I also believe that the war has something to do with it. The war is devestating and most people think at some points in time that the U.S. will not win so they decide that they should be angry with the U.S. and not be optimistic.

Thanks for the input Jessica and you bring up a good point. I do think that maybe the war (in Iraq), and maybe even 9/11 still, have made our country less optimistic. As I think about it though, if children see adults with a negative attitude then they also end up having a less than positive attitude toward things. It is very important in any situation to see the good. It is also important to try to make the most out of every day we have here on Earth. Keep smiling!

Mr. Carey,
very cool blog! I too think that it is very important to stay positive even when things seem bad. The glass is still half way full! Being pestimistic never helps anyone and always leaves someones feelings being hurt. Overall, I think that it is great that you are encouraging positive thinking.
